The youth department at Calvary, consisting
of grades 7-12, offers a variety of programs, activities,
and opportunities to meet the spiritual, physical, mental,
and social needs of teenagers.
Training and developing young people in the service of
our Lord Jesus Christ is the goal. The youth learn valuable
lessons in learning to live the Christian life. The teans
are encouraged to involve themselves in church service and
growth in their Christian life. Each Sunday morning, we
offer classes for the teans, giving teaching and instruction.
Each summer, the teans have the privilage of taking a summer
mission trip - a valuable tool for learning to witness and
minister to needs. There is also teen visitation, and various
other ministry opportunities that provide experience for
teens in preparation for serving Christ.
Some of the many teen activities include ski trips, retreats,
summer camps to Ironwood and Lucerne, Great America trips,
Neighborhood Bible Time, all-night activities, bowling,
and Sunday night get-togethers after the service.
